Great horse lovers since 1975

The Calela stud started in 1975, and it is one of the ±5 oldest SA Boerperd studs in South Africa.

For our Jacobsz/Steenkamp female animals made use of Cloete stallions ( from the late Willem Cloete - Cloetteggo) for over the past 35 years. We also use Lang Carel genetics from Mnr Jan van der Wath.
